Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using PassPilot ("the app"), or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or this site.

What PassPilot is

PassPilot is an independent study app for the UK Driving Theory Test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the Department for Transport, or any other government body.

Study material disclaimer

Practice questions, mock tests, road sign references and Highway Code material are provided for study purposes only. While we work hard to keep content accurate and aligned with the current DVSA syllabus, we make no warranty that using the app will guarantee a pass on the official DVSA theory test. The official test is set and administered exclusively by the DVSA.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

AI Coach

The AI Coach is an experimental feature that uses a third-party AI provider to generate study advice based on your practice statistics. Output is for guidance only and may occasionally be inaccurate. Do not rely on it as a substitute for the official DVSA materials. Usage is rate-limited.

Intellectual property

All app content, branding and design โ€” except material attributed to third parties such as the DVSA Highway Code โ€” is owned by PassPilot or its licensors. The Highway Code is published by the UK government and reproduced under the terms of the Open Government Licence.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PassPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app or website, including failure to pass the official theory test.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
